
Education Leaders’ Network Meeting – 22nd January 2026
The Forum Strategy Education Leaders’ Network – for school improvement leaders, education directors and headteachers working across trusts – will next meet online on 22nd January, with a session focused on a number of timely areas. These meetings are exclusively for individual members of our National #TrustLeaders Education Leaders’ network.
This will be an essential ongoing professional development session for all those leading school improvement at scale and across schools in trusts, with a balance of focus between ‘real time’ developments and issues and wider strategic considerations for trust development. It will include:
A strategic update by Michael Pain on key sector developments
A reflection on inspection under the new framework – a presentation and Q & A with Steve Ellis, CEO of Cheshire Academies Trust
– A session on emerging themes and trends on the strategic leadership of AI in trusts and schools, and Ofsted’s approach to this.
– Wicked issue: leading and embedding a culture of collective commitment across schools – the role of executive leader.
– Another session TBC.
The session will take place from 9am to 11am – with some time for discussion with Michael Pain following the session.
