SUMMARY:Education Leaders' Network Meeting - 22nd January 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Forum Strategy Education Leaders’ Network – for school improvement leaders\, education directors and headteachers working across trusts – will next meet online on 22nd January\, with a session focused on a number of timely areas. These meetings are exclusively for individual members of our National #TrustLeaders Education Leaders’ network. \nThis will be an essential ongoing professional development session for all those leading school improvement at scale and across schools in trusts\, with a balance of focus between ‘real time’ developments and issues and wider strategic considerations for trust development. It will include: \nA strategic update by Michael Pain on key sector developments\nA reflection on inspection under the new framework – a presentation and Q & A with Steve Ellis\, CEO of Cheshire Academies Trust\n– A session on emerging themes and trends on the strategic leadership of AI in trusts and schools\, and Ofsted’s approach to this.\n– Wicked issue: leading and embedding a culture of collective commitment across schools – the role of executive leader.\n– Another session TBC. \nThe session will take place from 9am to 11am – with some time for discussion with Michael Pain following the session. \nMembers of the network will receive a direct invite.
