Job Description
We are four primary schools across Birmingham. Greet Primary and Conway Primary, which were federated in 2009, formed the Trust initially. Hodge Hill Primary joined in January 2017 followed by Brookfields Primary in November 2018.
The uniqueness of each school is respected and celebrated by the Trust, but we also seek ways of working collaboratively – sharing best practices, solving common challenges and moving forward together.

We are looking to appoint an experienced, committed Director of Finance to provide strategic leadership and management of the Trust’s finances.
As the Director of Finance at Create Partnership Trust, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the financial strategy and operations of our dynamic Executive Team.
Create has a strong track record of school and trust improvement, including shortlisting for Small MAT of the Year and Most Improved MAT of the Year 2024. Your contributions will be crucial in ensuring our continued success and further development.
You will oversee financial management and strategic leadership within our middle-sized trust, which serves 2,600 pupils in areas experiencing significant deprivation. Your expertise will directly influence sustainable growth, enable resource optimisation, and support our commitment to providing high-quality education.
As part of the Trust’s Senior Executive Team, you will inspire, motivate and bring the highest level of integrity and attention to detail in all you do. Our ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and sound judgement, paired with a proven ability to manage a team effectively, displaying excellent leadership skills.
You will have a proven track record of successful financial leadership and building effective teams and significant experience in successfully leading and managing budgets, working and communicating effectively with other stakeholders.
