UK primary and secondary school teachers can apply for grants of up to £3,000 to support investigative STEM research projects that are designed for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
The funding, which is being made available through the Royal Society’s Partnership Grants Scheme can be used to purchase equipment for projects in science, mathematics, engineering or computing (STEM).
To qualify for funding, projects need to work in partnership with a practising scientist/engineer currently working in a STEM related profession, such as a researcher or analyst.
The Partnership Grants scheme is an annual funding round. There is a two-stage application process. The application process opens in February each year and there are three possible submission deadlines across the year. The next deadline for both stage 1 and 2 applications is at the end of April 2024.
