Our third meeting of our national Education Leaders national network this academic year will focus on the role of education executives in developing and sustaining a culture of equality, diversity and inclusion across trusts. We will bring together school improvement and educational leaders from across the country with their peers and with leading experts – including our guest speakers Professor Mel Ainscow and CEO of the Global Equality Collective, Nic Ponsford. The network is Chaired by former CEO of Co-op Academies, Frank Norris MBE.
The session will:
– provide a space for education leaders network members to consider and reflect on any recent national and policy developments and the implications for their trusts – this will be led by Frank Norris;
– consider some of the key issues and best practices for how trusts create a culture of equality, diversity and inclusion, with opportunities to hear from expert practitioners and to share best practice across the group. These sessions will be led by Professor Mel Ainscow, Professor of Education at the University of Manchester and international author of the recent book ‘Developing inclusive schools’ and Nic Ponsford, CEO and founder of the Global Equality Collective (GEC), and will provide leaders with useful insights into the current landscape, and potential ideas and strategies to take back to their trusts. There will also be signposting to useful resources;
– There will also be time for Education Leaders to network and connect with their peers more informally
To join this network meeting, you must be a member of our national Education Leaders network (our CEO and COO networks have their own network meetings in place). Please use the short form below to register your place.
