Helen Murphy is currently Deputy Chair (becoming Chair in Summer 2024) of the Board of Trustees at Northern Star Academies Trust (NSAT), supporting and challenging the Executive Team to ensure that NSAT’s Values and Strategy continue to create the most effective environment possible for pupils, teachers, staff, and communities to develop. Helen is an experienced business leader with an executive role as Managing Director of an engineering consultancy. Her technical and professional experience is in making communities more sustainable, liveable, and socially equitable through development of the places and infrastructure that enhances quality of life.
