SEND reform; Strategy implications of the White Paper

Forum Strategy Associate and SEND expert, Natalie Packer will lead a two hour workshop for CEOs and executive leaders on the strategic implications of the SEND reforms outlined in the new white paper, as well as considering wider contextual issues.
Natalie is a leading author and adviser on SEND, and has advised governments and multiple multi academy trusts on policy and strategy. She is a Forum Strategy Associate. Her books include ‘The Perfect SENCO’ and Beyond Boundaries.
Natalie will cover:
– Key timelines for change
– The role of trust boards and governance in preparing for change
– Key resource implications – staffing, estates, and otherwise
– The role of strategic partnerships in delivery
– The implications for accountability and monitoring of impact
– Potential risks and blindspots through change.
The session will cover these areas, and provide opportunities for Forum Strategy members to ask key questions and consider the implications for their trust.
