The Coalition for Youth Mental Health in Schools has launched a report outlining some of the major challenges around pupils’ mental health post pandemic, and setting out a range of recommendations for how schools and government can respond in light of this. The research included a poll of more than 1,000 young people, and brought together leaders and experts from across the state and private education sectors.

At this breakfast briefing we will be joined by one of the report’s authors, Ed Dorrell, former Deputy Editor of the TES and now Education Director at Public First. Ed will share both the findings and recommendations, and there will be a number of opportunities for members to share their perspectives and hear from one another.
