The first of our #TrustLeaders HR roundtables, focusing on the key HR challenges and opportunities facing academy trusts, will take place on 6th May 2020. This session is suitable for CEOs, COOs, HR Directors and trustees.

The roundtables will be led by Forum Associate, National Leader of Governance and HR professional, Sarah Armitage. Session 1 will take place on 6th May 2020 at the Forum Strategy Boardroom in Southwell, Nottinghamshire and we will be joined by Graham Salisbury, a highly experienced HR Director and Senior Lecturer on postgraduate programmes in HR and Organisational Behaviour at Nottingham Business School. Graham originally taught as a secondary school teacher and has wide experience within both private and not for profit businesses and has occupied senior HR roles in a leading aerospace and defence organisation and also the international development sector.

The session will cover:

– The current context for HR – change and strategic priorities

– Building HR capacity in your trust; roles, systems and sustainability

– Key current HR priorities for academy trusts and how to approach them.

The roundtable is offered on a first come, first served basis to our member trusts only, with only 15 places available. The cost is £145 plus VAT.

Free HR Health Check

As a participant of this event we are delighted to be able to offer you a free ‘HR Health Check’ with one of our contributors, Graham Salisbury and Sarah Armitage. This is an opportunity for a 30-45 minute call to talk through your current HR practices and processes and to get clarity on your gaps and opportunities for developing your HR function. This ‘diagnostic discussion’ will then give a valuable basis on which to prioritise the enhancement of your HR and develop a plan that will make a real and pragmatic difference to your Academy Trust.

Please contact us at events@forumstrategy.org as soon as possible to secure your place.
