Liverpool World Centre & Farm Urban are collaborating on an exciting new schools’ programme ‘Circular Futures’ for schools in Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and the Wirral.
Participating schools will take part in free workshops, a small-scale research project and a Citizens’ Assembly for pupils. No-one needs to miss out as there will be one project for Primary schools and one for Secondaries, all focused on sustainability and circular economy.
Your two classroom workshops will take place in Spring term 2026, while Citizens Assemblies will bring schools together (Secondary in May / Primary in June 2026). Groups of pupils in each school will undertake action research, with results presented at the Citizens Assemblies and supporting their schools sustainability strategies.
The programme is looking for just one school in each of the six LCR local authorities for this year. Click the appropriate link below (one for primary schools, and one for secondary schools) to register your interest.
No deadline given, but book as soon as possible to secure a place.
