Members Breakfast Briefing: Key developments for SEND provision in 2023
How is your trust adapting and preparing for an ever changing landscape for supporting pupils with special educational needs? This is a key question all trust leaders will no doubt be asking across all settings, particularly as we see a growing number of pupils needing SEND provision and as resourcing becomes even more of a challenge. Join us at our next Members’ Breakfast Briefing, where we will be joined by Natalie Packer, Forum Strategy Associate and SEND specialist, who will outline some of the key current developments around SEND policy; and key developments, opportunities and challenges ahead in the next few months for trust leaders in supporting children and young people with special educational needs.
Natalie is a one of the country’s leading experts on SEND strategy – having advised governments on SEND; supported trusts, not least as a Forum Strategy Associate leading trust-wide SEND reviews; and having published two books ‘The Perfect SENCO’ and ‘The Teachers Guide to SEN’. She will share the latest thinking and insight around what is likely to come next for trust leaders and their organisations in terms of SEND provision and strategy, and how we may respond in a challenging and uncertain context. Natalie will also share key learning gleaned through trust wide SEND reviews across the country .
This event is open to all individual members of our CEO, COO and Education Executive networks. Please note you must be an individual member of Forum Strategy to attend – if you are unable to attend personally and would like to nominate someone to attend in your place, please email us at admin@forumstrategy.org
