The Key are continuously providing updates and update guidance on the situation:

They have a team of colleagues dedicated to (at least daily) pulling together all the relevant guidance from official sources; in order to best support academy trust and school leaders to remain up-to-date with the very latest advice and guidance. Whether or not you are currently a member of The Key, their resource hub – ‘Coronavirus (COVID-19) – what you need to know’ – is free to access and contains a wealth of excellent information; including:

  • Links to the latest public health guidance;
  • Advice regarding preparing for operating with skeleton staff; pupil absence; and potential school closure;
  • Preparing for remote learning;
  • Sharing information with parents and the community;
  • Managing trips and travel; and
  • Perhaps most importantly of all – talking to pupils about coronavirus
