Children’s Alliance, a UK charity founded by Water Babies (the UK’s largest baby swim school), is dedicated to improving the lives of all children—particularly those facing disadvantage.
Swimming and access to water are seen as vital for building children’s physical health, confidence, and emotional resilience. However, over one million children are now expected to leave school unable to swim 25 metres unaided due to the post-COVID decline in swimming opportunities.
The charity aims to get children safely into water to learn, develop, and play with purpose—enhancing both physical and mental wellbeing.
Children’s Alliance seeks to fund and support grassroots organisations running water-based projects for disadvantaged children. Support will include:
- Financial grants to enable project delivery.
- Access to networks and expertise within the UK aquatic industry.
