The Clore Duffield Foundation is inviting applications for Year 2 of its School Trip Grants programme, which supports state-funded schools in Blackpool and Cornwall to provide pupils with high-quality school trip opportunities they would otherwise be unable to access.
The programme is designed to:
- give schools the funds and capacity to deliver an ambitious programme of trips;
- support a wide range of curriculum and enrichment experiences;
- enable schools to transform their school-trip offer;
- build confidence and good-practice networks over the long term.
Funding available
- Schools will receive 100% funding for trips, alongside advice and brokerage support from the Clore Duffield Schools Programme Manager.
- Primary schools will commit to six off-site trips per student each year, with funding of over £6,000 per class per year available.
- Secondary schools will commit to three off-site trips per student each year, with funding of over £3,000 per class per year available.
Trips can include visits to major museums, galleries, theatres, heritage sites, live performances and workshops, outdoor activities such as hiking or kayaking, and trips to major cities, the seaside, or national parks.
Eligibility
To apply, schools must:
- be state-funded (not fee-paying);
- have 28% or more free school meal-eligible pupils;
- be based in Blackpool or Cornwall local authority areas;
- have 100 or more pupils on roll (schools with fewer may apply jointly with another school);
- not have previously received School Trip Grant funding.
Application deadline: 18:00 Friday 28 November 2025
