Members Breakfast Briefing: How trust leaders can support staff wellbeing and retention through access to financial health checks and advice

16 January 2024 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am

At the start of a new year, many members of staff may be wondering what the year ahead might hold for them financially. Indeed, as trust leaders, you may be considering your own options. From considering pension and retirement options to how best to stay financially balanced, there is undoubtedly a direct link between financial ‘wellness’ and overall wellbeing and contentment. How can you support your workforce in accessing the right advice, support and information to help them (and potentially you too) to plan ahead successfully? In this special breakfast briefing for members, we are joined by our partners at Wesleyan Financial Services, to explore how trust leaders can support financial wellbeing for staff.

We are all acutely aware of the impact the current cost of living crisis is having on staff, children and young people and communities – as finances become tighter and the cost of living rises, current and future financial planning and decisions become ever more important. Wesleyan Financial Services work closely with a number of schools, trusts and organisations across education and join the team at Forum Strategy to discuss what they are learning about the criticality of financial advice and information, how getting it right can support staff retention and they will share some useful tips and advice for trust leaders on how best to approach this across the trust.

Please note Wesleyan are part of a paid for partnership with Forum Strategy. When selecting our partners we do so with careful reference to their expertise and their ethos and values.
