We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and inspirational Chief Operating Officer to join us at a pivotal point in our journey as we seek to become a leading Multi-Academy Trust in the North of England. We were founded in April 2015 and since our inception we have achieved a great deal to grow a thriving and dynamic Trust Partnership comprising six primary and two secondary schools who serve the vibrant communities of Keighley, Skipton and Harrogate.  

In this key leadership role, the COO will work directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will provide high level direction for all strategic and organisational operations within the context of business services to the Trust. In addition, the COO will support the CEO on the delivery of new academy sponsorship and conversions and the associated due diligence. They will play a key role in building and delivering the shared mission and the aims, values and culture of the organisation.

Our Trust Partnership of schools are determined to maximise the achievement of all NSAT children and young people, thereby improving their life chances. Our particular focus over the next five years will be on finding new solutions to delivering green, relevant, and sustainable education. 

The appointed Chief Operating Officer will be a highly visible and credible leader within the Trust, who will model a deep commitment to advancing education for the public benefit. You will deliver our ambitious strategy and our vision to become a leading Trust for both Environmental Sustainability and Digital Inclusion. Along with providing strategic leadership and professional management of support roles and services excluding Finance. 

A highly competent individual, you will have a proven track record of strategic planning leading to business growth and translating vision into concrete strategy. You will have a strong ability to actively lead and promote the vision and values of the Trust, excellent understanding of organisational leadership and management, as well as strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt, lead, influence, empower and manage change.
