Chief Executive Officer – Omega Multi Academy Trust
Job Start Date:
Job Term: Permanent
Closing Date: 20 January 2022
Omega Multi-Academy trust is a cross-phase group of six schools in Warrington and Liverpool who are passionate about offering the best possible school experience for all children and young people in our two secondary and four primary schools.
Our Trust prides itself on our culture of inspiring education which emphasises the knowledge, skills and experiences that will enable pupils to be resilient, aspirational, and employable people who are compassionate, inclusive, and valued members of society. We do this by investing in our staff and embedding innovative, high-quality teaching and learning into our curricula whilst keeping the best interests of our children at the heart of everything we do.
Originally founded in 2018 to allow a close community of cross-phase schools to embrace their independence within a supportive and protective group, following expansion in 2020, we are now exploring the educational and community benefits of prudently creating further hubs around our family of schools.
Our schools are firmly rooted in their local communities and respond to the needs of their community with local understanding and local knowledge whilst sharing best practice and retaining much of their unique nature and identities. We empower our school leaders to focus on teaching and learning and the children’s wider development and strike an effective balance between autonomy and centralisation to provide professional development, peer support, and best use of financial and workforce resources.
Following the retirement of our current leader, we are looking for an inspiring and committed CEO to help guide the Trust onto the next phase of its journey. Not only will our new CEO be able to shape the education of thousands of young people, but they will also play a lead role in further developing our central services function as our Trust and wider education system evolves.
The Trust needs a leader with a strategic and pragmatic knowledge of school improvement who can demonstrate the impact of their leadership on schools and communities. Evidence of candidates’ ability to lead, enable and empower those around them will be key to their success and the ongoing success of the Trust.
If you are a committed educationalist and a strategic leader; able to demonstrate highly developed school improvement knowledge; have a clear vision for securing our place in the education landscape; able to manage risk and financial complexity and have the personal credibility required to lead a dynamic organisation, please get in touch.
