SUMMARY:National #TrustLeaders CEO Network Meeting
DESCRIPTION:How as a CEO do you ensure a strong sense of culture at scale? When times are uncertain and our organisations are facing profound challenges at all levels\, how do we ensure a sense of collective commitment to the vision\, values and behaviours we wish to see lived out? As Drucker said\, “culture eats strategy for breakfast” and at times like these – when our people\, resources\, partnerships and decisions are all under pressure – the culture of our organisations matters more than ever. The role of CEO in this is crucial and not to be underestimated. \nAt the next CEO network\, we will not only provide a strategic update on the current landscape for trusts and the implications of wider sector and cross-sector dynamics; we will also explore the CEO’s role in enabling and reinforcing a positive culture at scale\, ensuring our organisations are well positioned to come through the challenges with positivity\, integrity\, impact and success. The session will be guided by network Chair\, Sir Steve Lancashire – drawing on his experience as former CEO of one of the country’s largest trusts\, with contributions from organisational development and improvement expert Paul Taylor\, and Forum Strategy’s Executive Director\, Alice Gregson. \nThe session will provide up to the minute strategic insight; reflection; discussion and the opportunity to connect with peer CEOs – all guided by expert CEOs and thinkers. In this session we want to give you the space and support to reflect on how you approach these ever testing times. \nAgenda\n9.30am: Welcome – Sir Steve Lancashire\, Network Chair\n9.40am: Strategic update on the current landscape for trusts and the implications wider sector and cross-sector dynamics – Alice Gregson\, Executive Director\, Forum Strategy\n10am: The CEO’s role in enabling and reinforcing a positive culture at scale – Sir Steve Lancashire (with network discussions)\n10.50am: Developing and maintaining highly effective work cultures at scale – Paul Taylor\, Innovation Coach\, Bromford (with network discussions)\n11.40am: The role of equality\, diversity and inclusion in leading effective work cultures – Nic Ponsford\, Co-CEO & Founder\, the Global Equality Collective (GEC)\n12pm: Final thoughts and close \nPlease note the GEC are part of a paid for partnership with Forum Strategy.
