SUMMARY:Members' Discussion Forum: Supporting and enabling community cohesion through challenging times
DESCRIPTION:As leaders of organisations at the hearts of your communities\, how do you best support and enable community cohesion through times of challenge and divide? And\, in seeing our staff as part of our trust community\, how do we support them through it too? Never before has a sense of togetherness and understanding been more important but we know that this is not always easy to navigate and as trust leaders\, we know you will want to learn from and share some of the strategies and approaches to best facilitate and support this among your communities. \nRecognising the many local\, national and global issues affecting our communities currently\, this special discussion forum for members will create a safe space within which to connect with one another and share practice about how you are approaching community cohesion across your trusts and schools. We will be joined by colleagues from Chiltern Learning Trust\, Adrian Rogers (CEO) & Sufian Sadiq (Director of Teaching School) and the Global Equality Collective (Nic Ponsford\, CEO)\, who will share their experiences and learning around community cohesion\, drawing particularly on how they are helping pupils\, families and staff to navigate current issues. We will also build in plenty of time within this for you to share your experiences and ideas as a network\, ensuring as we do so\, that we keep discussions as objective and as balanced as possible\, while providing that safe space for colleagues to discuss issues that might be on their mind and that they are looking for some support around. \nTo book onto this event please use the form below.
