DESCRIPTION:Attendance remains one of the most pressing challenges for trusts and schools\, with wide-ranging implications for pupil learning\, wellbeing\, and long-term outcomes. In this exclusive Members’ Breakfast Briefing\, ImpactEd Group will share the latest findings from Understanding Attendance\, a major national research project drawing on data from over 30\,000 pupils who took part in the Summer Term.\n\nThis session will explore the key factors shaping attendance across a range of different pupil groups\, including: \n\nThe varying impact of adult and peer relationships on engagement\nThe role of family and the home environment in supporting attendance\nHow belonging and wellbeing influence pupil presence in school\nWhere incentives for attendance prove most effective\n\n\nWe will also explore how trusts and schools have used these insights to tailor and target their response to absence more effectively\, with a focus on practical approaches that can make the greatest difference. \nAlongside the latest national insights\, there will be the opportunity to learn more about joining the next research cohort\, helping to further explore the barriers and enablers of attendance in a variety of settings. \n\nThe session will be led by Alice Gregson\, CEO\, Forum Strategy and Lucy Preston\, Associate Director for School Research Partnerships\, ImpactEd Group.\n \n\n\n\nAll members of Forum Strategy’s national networks have been sent a meeting invitation for this event – if you would like to attend\, please just accept the invitation and the details will be added to your calendar.
