SUMMARY:Members' Breakfast Briefing: Trusts at the heart of community engagement in a changing world
DESCRIPTION:How do you continue to effectively engage parents and communities when the world keeps shifting?\nTrust leaders today are navigating a landscape transformed by technology\, impact from the pandemic\, political turbulence\, economic pressures and more. Parents and communities are experiencing these shifts first-hand and as well know too well\, expectations of schools and trusts are evolving rapidly. \nIn this session for members\, we’ll explore through inputs and discussion what we are learning about building meaningful\, resilient relationships with parents and communities in this new context. We’ll move from insight to action: how trust leaders can continue to adapt engagement strategies\, strengthen partnerships\, and create a shared sense of purpose when the ground keeps moving. \nYou’ll have the opportunity to reflect on:\n• How societal shifts – from AI to cost-of-living pressures – are reshaping parent and community engagement\n• What effective\, trust-wide approaches to partnership and community engagement look like in practice\n• How to balance listening\, transparency\, and leadership in times of uncertainty\n• Practical strategies to build stronger\, more connected communities around your schools \nWith contributions from:\n• Alice Gregson\, CEO\, Forum Strategy (Session Lead)\n• Lindsay Rose\, Strategic Partnerships Lead\, The Brilliant Club\n• Jimmy Pickering\, Director of Communities\, The Brilliant Club\n• Rob Carpenter\, CEO\, The Inspire Partnership \nThis is for trust leaders who are keen to explore ways of developing deeper\, more authentic collaboration with parents and communities that can withstand and respond to the challenges of our times. \nAll members of Forum Strategy’s national networks have been sent a meeting invitation for this event – if you would like to attend\, please just accept the invitation and the details will be added to your calendar. If for some reason you have missed the invite or not received one\, please email us at admin@forumstrategy.org and we will re-send the invitation.
