SUMMARY:Members' Breakfast Briefing: Trust leaders in conversation with Ofsted
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this special members’ briefing with Lee Owston\, National Director for Education at Ofsted\, to directly share your views\, concerns\, questions and ideas around the new Ofsted proposals. \nAt the beginning of February\, Ofsted shared how it intends to reform the inspection process through the introduction of report cards and has put their initial plans out for consultation. As part of this consultation period\, Ofsted are keen to engage with and hear from a range of stakeholders. At the end of February\, Lee joined our ‘Taking stock of accountability’ members’ breakfast briefing alongside Jon Andrews from EPI and following on from that\, has been keen to hear further from trust leaders. \nThis session\, led and facilitated by Forum Strategy\, offers the opportunity to have a direct and open discussion with a senior leader from Ofsted in order to professionally challenge and help to shape the future of the approach and framework for inspections moving forward. Lee will share further details about the proposals and how Ofsted see these being shaped and refined by feedback and we will then open up the majority of the session to questions and discussion with those attending.
