DESCRIPTION:It is crucial that Chairs of Trustees continue to access the latest insights\, developments and updates from across the system – and invest time in their own ongoing professional development and we want to support this at Forum Strategy. All Chairs of Trustees whose CEO\, COO and/or Education Executive is a member of Forum Strategy\, are entitled to attend our termly complimentary seminars for Chairs. \nThis term’s event will focus on sharing the findings from our Being The CEO report. We will draw out useful findings for Chairs and their Boards from our 2024 report and we will also highlight any useful five year trends we have discovered over the last five years of running this national survey and developing the report. Rachael Gacs\, Communications and Resources Manager at Forum Strategy\, will guide attendees through the findings\, sharing the experiences and perspectives of CEOs on a number of useful facets ranging from trust priorities and challenges\, to current and future projected CEO skills and background\, to CEO development and succession planning – all of which Boards have a significant role to play within. \nSarah Ginns\, Policy and Research Manager at Forum Strategy\, will also join us to share key ideas and reflections emerging from our recent series of trust leaders roundtables chaired by Baroness Estelle Morris. These roundtables focused on three key themes; accountability reform\, recruitment and retention\, and curriculum reform and were attended by members from across our national networks. Sarah will pull out the headline ideas and points from each roundtable\, opening this up for discussion as a group. \nThis is an opportunity for Chairs to reflect on some of the latest sector thinking\, to consider the role of the Board within this\, and to share their perspectives with other Chairs from across the country.
