DESCRIPTION:It is crucial that Chairs of Trustees continue to access the latest insights\, developments and updates from across the system – and invest time in their own ongoing professional development and we want to support this at Forum Strategy. All Chairs of Trustees whose CEO\, COO and/or Education Executive is a member of Forum Strategy\, are entitled to attend our termly complimentary seminars for Chairs. \nThis term’s event will include a strategic update from Alice Gregson\, CEO at Forum Strategy\, covering the latest developments across the sector and reflecting on where trusts’ (and therefore trust leaders’) priorities are likely to be in the year ahead. Following on from this\, Sarah Ginns\, Policy & Research Manager at Forum Strategy\, will lead a session for Chairs focused on preparation for a likely election year. Sarah will touch on the key emerging themes around education that have been shared so far from the main political parties and then\, drawing on Forum Strategy’s recently published practical guide for trust leaders on managing the role with care during an election year\, discuss how Chairs can approach the year ahead with care and consideration\, also supporting their CEOs in doing so. \nThis is an opportunity for Chairs to reflect on the year ahead\, considering key priorities and the potential implications of an election year\, and to share their perspectives with other Chairs from across the country.
