The second meeting of CEO Strategy Group 2 on remote learning and working, will take place on 4th February 2020 (9.15am – 10.45am). The group is chaired by Kath Kelly, CEO of the Lionheart Trust and an EdTech Demonstrator School. A summary of meeting one can be accessed here: CEO Strategy Group 2 -Remote learning and working | Forum Strategy
We will be joined at the 4th February event by Ofsted’s Head of Research and Evaluation, Daniel Muijs, and Head of Strategy, Anna Trethewey, to consider their recent research and perspectives on effective remote learning during the pandemic. CEOs will have a chance to discuss the key emerging themes and share their views with the inspectorate.
Separately, the CEO group will also consider the importance of the home working and learning environment – to understand what is conducive to better remote learning and working, and to help inform the development of advice and support for those at home, with a clear link to wellbeing. We will be joined for this discussion by Prof. Paul Howard-Jones, Professor in Neuroscience and Education at University of Bristol, and Dwinder Virk of ACAS (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service).
